When I founded Lakut Kashmir (meaning “Little Kashmir”) back in 2012, I had a simple goal in mind. Fresh out of my MBA, I saw that most travel itineraries were showing people only the surface of Kashmir-the standard tourist spots and postcard views.
While our mountains, snow-capped peaks, and lakes are undeniable blessings, I knew that the true, living beauty of Kashmir lies in its soul: our people, our culture, and the warmth of our hospitality.
